So You Had a Bad Day . . .

:::Rant warning:::

Okaaaaay . . . who is tired of this song??? :::jumping up and down, waving my arms madly::: I AM! I AM!!

You've got to understand, the first 5,000 times I heard it were from my 7 y/o daughter who didn't quite have the lyrics right. She sang--
"So you had a bad day
Your feelings are hurt
You sing a sad song
Just to turn it around . . ."
then you start back with "So you had a bad day" and continue on in a neverending loop!!! It's like that song--
"This is the song that never ends
Yes it goes on and on my friend
Some people started singing it
not knowing what it was
and they'll continue singing it
forever just because
This is the song that never ends . . ."
Ugh.
It got so bad, I heard my husband making up his own lyrics under his breath. They went something like . . .
"So you had a bad day
Your feelings are hurt
So poke him in the eye
and call him a jerk!"
::giggle::
Then, I went to the city for a class with the Chief and guess what song the radio played several times on the way to/from the class? You guessed it. Well, at least this wasn't Madeline's version of it. The real version really makes absolutely no sense to me. :::sigh::: Oh well. I'M not having a bad day. Hope you're having a marvelous day!
SMILE!!! : )
