I just had to post something else. Dennis the Minister (our interim pulpit minister) spoke on many things tonight. And maybe this wasn't the best thing I could have come up with from the sermon, but I guess I missed it before in previous readings.
II Timothy 4:14
Alexander the coppersmith did me much harm. May the Lord repay him according to his works.
LOL--I like that. I don't know, maybe it just makes Paul that much more human in my eyes. He too, struggled with his feelings towards someone who "did me much harm". I'll have to remember that. It's kind of like a mixed blessing/curse--"May the Lord repay you according to your works!"
Okay, I'll be nice, now.

Thank you Susie for sharing that...and thank you Paul for being normal!!!!

I have really tried to pray for people I don't like. It is hard to not like someone you pray for. It usually works on most people, but there are some I have been praying ofr a while..LOL!! I will try not to use this scripture as a crutch...but good to know!

Usually we just need mercy, not justice...but it would be nice to see the other guys get a little of that which they deserve, wouldn't it?
